The Manoel’s TOI TOI Learning & Participation Programme, in collaboration with the Malta School of Music Contemporary Department, is holding another Easter Concert, featuring talented young artists from across Malta and Gozo,.
The audience will be taken on a journey across the history of pop music: with hits from the 1950s to the present day. The packed programme includes timeless favourites and medleys merging popular music genres, from retro ‘rock ‘n’ roll’ all the way to Harry Styles, so there is something for everyone − from the young ones to grandparents.
“Easter Sunday often unites the whole family, possibly to celebrate religious festivities in the morning before enjoying lunch together. The TOI TOI Annual Easter Concert is the ideal special event to extend the togetherness, joy and Easter entertainment into the afternoon and evening,” Kate Fenech Field, TOI TOI Learning Programme Manager, says.
“Each year, we try to make sure the learning and participation elements run through the heart of the concert, with high standards of musicianship and ensemble work. We receive excellent feedback from our young theatregoers and know the audience has loved it too, through its exuberant applause.”
The TOI TOI Annual Easter Concert is the latest event from TOI TOI, Teatru Manoel’s Learning Programme. With a mission to both educate and entertain, while encouraging inclusivity and innovation, TOI TOI offers performance opportunities as well as educational, technical and artistic benefits for local artists, producing a vibrant array of shows and experiences for audiences of all ages.
The TOI TOI Annual Easter Concert will take place at the Manoel Theatre in Valletta on April 9 at 5pm. Tickets are available via www.teatrumanoel.mt, by e-mailing bookings@teatrumanoel.mt or calling on (+356) 2124 6389.
