The picture follows Puss in Boots as he embarks on a dangerous quest into the Dark Forest to find the legendary Wishing Star to restore the first eight of his nine lives.
The computer-animated Super Mario Bros. Movie (PG), based on the popular video game series, sees Brooklyn plumber Mario travelling through the Mushroom Kingdom with a princess named Peach and an anthropomorphic mushroom named Toad to find Mario’s brother, Luigi, and to save the world from a ruthless fire-breathing Koopa (a turtle-like creature) named Bowser.
Another computer-animated picture, The Amazing Maurice (PG), follows a sassy, street-smart cat who travels across the countryside with his band of rats and a pied piper, swindling villagers with a staged rat plague. But not all goes according to plan. The film is based on the children’s fantasy novel Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents by British writer Terry Pratchett.

Yet another sequel, Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Among Thieves (12) sees a charming thief (Chris Pine) and a band of unlikely adventurers embarking on an epic quest to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people.
The film line-up also includes the sports comedy drama Champions (12A).
