Following a weekend attendance of over 40,000 people in 2022, Malta’s alternative festival, Earth Garden, returns to Ta Qali Picnic area from June 2 to June 4.
Once again, the festival promises to deliver a unique blend of world music, art, and culture that celebrates diversity and brings people of all ages and nationalities together. Earth Garden has established a reputation for being a melting pot of various genres in the Mediterranean, including world music, reggae, ska, hip hop, alternative rock, electronic music, techno, house, and psychedelic.
With five different stages, three smaller stages at the healing fields, with over 100 international performers, and the biggest line up to date, festival-goers will have a chance to experience the best fusion of music from around the world as well as some of the best Malta has to offer.
Of course, Earth Garden isn’t just about music and entertainment. The festival is also about promoting self-care, sustainability and wellbeing. A newly relocated and dedicated healing area will host a range of workshops, meditation, and yoga classes throughout the day, allowing festival-goers to take a break from the excitement and focus on their mental and physical health in a peaceful and nurturing environment.
In addition to the music and healing areas, Earth Garden will feature two food courts that offer a diverse selection of foods, from some of the top restaurants on the island with plenty of options to satisfy any craving. Following last year’s feedback, Earth Garden will be adopting some drastic changes to satisfy the requests and elevate the overall experience.
The Ethnic Market which will include 50+ stalls , known for its vibrant colours which reflect the cultural heritage of different parts of the world, is always a must-visit attraction during the festival, offering a wide range of unique and visually stunning handcrafted items. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll through, interact with the vendors, and discover the perfect souvenir to remember their Earth Garden experience for years to come. Whether you are looking for a one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery or a beautiful piece of artwork, the Ethnic Market is the perfect place to find it.
Local pioneers in festival camping and 15 years of camping experience, the renowned camping atmosphere at Earth Garden is unique. With a variety of options to choose from, including general camping and tent rental services, festival-goers can immerse themselves in the experience fully.
