A new video in the series Around The World in 18 Keys was launched last week. The new piece, titled Dawn, was composed by Stephen Montague. The video is set against the backdrop of the Merkine Mound in Lithuania.
The Around The World in 18 Keys project is the brainchild of pianist Tricia Dawn Willaims, who conceived of the idea as a way to use her extensive toy piano library collection while meeting new composers and gathering new material for her performances. The project includes a number of international performances by Williams, each time from a different location and featuring a different composer.
