Hands up those of you who were there when it all started at what was then considered to be a highly improbable venue – the Aviation Museum in Ta’ Qali. The questions and curiosity about what the first Pink Fashion Show was going to add to the industry abounded. Today, 10 years later, those questions have been answered. And how, as the show has become the leading fashion event that anyone who loves the industry – from models, to designers, stylists, influencers and more – makes it a point not to miss.
It was to be expected that the 10th anniversary show would top all previous efforts, and we weren’t disappointed. The 10th Anniversary Pink Fashion Show by OK Fashion transformed OK Group’s distinctive home décor and household store in Lija into a runway and a unique party venue.
Guests were greeted with London Essence welcome drinks, while the after-party rocked with a Campari and gin cocktail bar, a wine bar and a whiskey bar. Healthy bites were courtesy of Vida.
Models sauntered down the catwalk wearing Mimi and Furla, Steve Madden, US Polo, Karl Lagerfeld and Swarovski. The blend of contrasting styles added to the intrigue of the evening. Make-up was Guerlain, by Franks and hair by Nev Hair Salon using Evo hair products and Neville Roman Zammit’s hairstyling team: Annie Morelli, Kain Galea, Mark Mamo, Miraya Bezzina, Shylon Micallef and Stephanie Lia.
If there’s one thing all Pink Fashion Show guests have come to expect, that’s a sumptuous goodie bag at the end of the evening, and the tenth anniversary haul proved to be a real treat with myriad cosmetics, perfumes, skin care and other beauty products distributed.
The 10th Anniversary Pink Fashion Show by OK Fashion was supported by Baci, BOV, Campari, Franks, Ivalife, Holland & Barrett, Jean Paul Gaultier, London Essence, OK Home, Porsche, Remedies, Samsung, Sound Machine and Vida.
