Just a few days ago, Harry Styles’s Pleasing made the leap to underwear, leading Teen Vogue to ask whether the singer was after Kim Kardashian’s Skims’s crown.

Called ‘Ribbed’, Pleasing’s new collection features two types of underwear, tank tops and boxer briefs. Unisex in nature, each item is made out of soft-ribbed knit cotton and is available in four colours: lavender, brown, black, and blue.

The drop took many by surprise as, originally, Pleasing was touted to be a beauty company, focusing on fragrance, nail polish, and skincare. Even so, over the past few months, it has slowly been adding to its catalogue of apparel, which noq includes hoodies, sweatpants, sweaters, scarves, pyjamas, socks, beanies, and house robes.

At this point, it’s hard to imagine Pleasing taking over Skims’ marketshare, especially since Kim Kardashian’s shapewear company has recently been valued at a whooping $4 billion. Even so, Styles’ popularity and his company’s gender-less approach to fashion may still have a big impact.
