Mind the gap in your brain!

A Malta Café Scientifique session at Spazju Kreattiv.

Can we fill all the gaps in the map of our brain? Embark into a mental mapping exercise and rethink how our brain connects and functions with the use of cutting-edge technology. As part of Malta Café Scientifique, Dr Claude Bajada from the University of Malta’s BOB Lab will be presenting the Vogt-Bailey Toolbox, a brain-mapping software that quantifies the ‘blurriness’ of boundaries in the outer layer of the neural tissue, known as cerebral cortex. Discover the wide implications for brain research advancement with significant applications for mental health diagnosis and prognostic solutions. The event takes place tomorrow, April 9 at 7pm hosted in Studio B at Spazju Kreattiv.
