Zara are working on a new—and very exciting—collaboration with fashion legend, Stefano Pilati, who was head designer at Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) between 2004 and 2012.
According to WWD, which broke the story just a few days ago, the coed capsule will be based on the designer’s enviable style, and will include up to 50 styles of men, 30 for women, a selection of shoes, and a number of bags.
The news is particularly thrilling for fashion lovers, who will know Pilati’s talents from his many stints. In fact, apart from heading YSL, he has also been head of design at Ermenegildo Zegna; started his own ready-to-wear collection called Random Identities; and walked the runway for Pharall Williams’ debut at Louis Vuitton.
The capsule collection is reportedly set to drop in Zara stores in October, though exact dates are not in yet. Even so, once it does go on sale, the collection is expected to sell within minutes so, if you’d like to get your hands on any Zara x Stefano Pilati-designs, we suggest keeping your eyes peeled!
