Malta Climate Action and the Kids4Kids Market

Eco Market Malta and Friends of the Earth Malta are holding a special edition of the Eco Market at the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta until Sunday, September 22, as part of the Sustainable Development Week.

Eco-innovative start-ups, local NGOs and artisans driving positive change for the community and the environment will be present.

Tomorrow and on Sunday, there will also be a Kids4Kids Market, where children can showcase and sell their own creations. Besides there will be various activities such as a ‘seasonal veggie game’, a Disney tunes party and creative, upcycling crafts.

There will also be activities specifically for youths such as mindfulness yoga sessions and talks on how to better connect with nature and influence policies and decisions.

Lejla fil-park

Another event featuring activities revolving around sustainability is Lejla fil-park at the Park ta’ San Klement in Żabbar, taking place on September 27 from 6pm onwards. The event was scheduled for September 20 but was postponed due to inclement weather.

There will be various activities for all the family, including sports, educational stalls, exhibitions, interactive activities and entertainment.
