Now that the year’s second London Fashion Week, covering spring/summer 2025, is behind us, it’s time to start looking into which trends graced the most runways and what this will mean for fashion and beauty in the months to come. The below are our three favourites.
Our Favourite Fashion Trend: Veils have been a major newcomer this runway season, which Vogue noticing them on two specific runways: those for Roksanda and Richard Quinn. In these cases, the veils were diaphanous materials wrapped around the models’ faces and left to trail behind them. The trend is undoubtedly somewhat eccentric, but it’s so dramatic and alluring that we’re sure it can be used by fashionistas to make a bold statement.
Our Favourite Beauty Trend: Glitter was one of the most common elements in beauty this season, but our favourite choice were the pinched lashes, which basically sees them pinched together into a number of clumps to give a more doll-like appearance. In the Harris Reed show, the models also had eyelashes of various lengths, giving them even more texture.
Our Favourite Nail Trend: There were a number of nail trends that came out of September’s LFW, including beaded tassels, but the most practical was the shimmering nails trend. This kept things pretty plain by Roksanda’s nail technicians, who just adding clear, shimmering nail polish and topped the tip with a line of black polish.
