5 nail trends to rock this season

A new season brings with it new trends, and nails are certainly not forgotten in the process. These five nail trends taking over runways, social media, and celebrities’ hands show that there’s something for everyone this season!

Autumn Jellies: Jelly nails have been all the range for months now, so autumn was bound to have its own version. Translucent to the point where you can see your natural nails beneath, autumn jelly nails are about achieving a glass effect with autumnal colours like watermelon and tangerine.

French Square: Combining the classic French tip with the square nail, this trend has slowly increased in popularity and creativity. Some influencers have also gone as far as turning these into two-toned creations, like lilac tips on purple nails, or black tips on red nails.

Galaxies: The heavens can now live rent-free on your nails thanks to a combination of purples, greens, pinks, and blacks; some of which can and should be glittery. What’s even nicer is that no two nails will ever be exactly the same, meaning you have a whole, unique galaxy on each nail.

Wine: One of the more subtle trends is the colour burgundy as a nail polish. Our favourite part about these is that this trend can be as simple or as creative as you’d like it to be: you can stick with a solid burgundy or else combine the colour with one of the many trends mentioned above, like the French Square or the Autumn Jellies.

Sculptures: If you follow any nail art accounts on TikTok or Instagram, then you’ve surely seen some whacky creations over the years… Who can forget the full-on, working tea set complete with hot water, tea leaves, sugar granules, and milk? Well, sculptures on nails are now mainstream, and among the ones we’ve seen are cars, foods, and billiard balls. The trick this season, however, is to place the sculptures directly on nude nails!
