With Halloween fast approaching, it’s now certainly time to start thinking seriously about what to dress up as for the spookiest night of the year. Thankfully, pop culture has given us plenty of ideas over the past year, and our selection includes fictional characters, global pop sensations, and lots more!
Delores from Beetlejuice Beetlejuice: As one of this year’s most talked-about films, it’s no surprise that many will take inspiration from the Tim Burton-directed horror comedy. One of our favourite characters from the film was Delores, played by Monica Bellucci, whose grey skin clashes perfectly with her black Victorian dress.
Sabrina Carpenter: The ‘Espresso’ singer may have just burst onto the scene but her iconic outfits have been causing a stir. The pint-sized pop sensation loves wearing baby doll-dresses in bright and bold colours. Her hair is also instantly-recognisable, of course, so don’t skimp out on that!
Inside Out: With the release of Inside Out 2, the world of emotions has come to the forefront. As such, you can expect to see lots of people dressed up as their favourite emotion-inspired character, like Anxiety, Envy, Fear, or Joy. For our money, Anxiety would probably make the best costume.
