Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’s trial, which begins on May 5, will undoubtedly be one of 2025’s most talked-about news stories. In the leadup to that, The Daily Mail has dropped another season of its award-winning podcast The Trial, this time covering the events that led to the downfall of one of the music industry’s biggest names.

The Trial of Diddy is hosted by Marjorie Hernandez, a journalist who has spent over six months researching and investigating the allegations against Diddy, which include those of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, obstruction of justice, and bribery, among many others.

Diddy denies all accusations, but that hasn’t stopped the media frenzy that was bound to emerge from one of the world’s most famous rappers and record producers, whose career has seen him develop the careers of musical artists like Notorious B.I.G., Usher, and Mary J Blige, being charged with this serious and heinous crimes.

In The Trial of Diddy podcast, plenty of insiders, police officers, and reporters recount their stories and observations, aiming to shine a light on how Diddy allegedly got away with so much for so long.

So far, there are six episodes ready to be listened to on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever else you like listening to your podcasts. Be warned, though, it’s not easy listening, as stories of abuse, domestic violence, gun violence, and underage prostitution are practically recounted in every episode.
