2025 isn’t even here yet and it’s already looking like it’s going to be a huge year for music. From a new album by the Manic Street Preachers and Ringo Starr dropping in January, to new records by Miley Cyrus, Blondie, ASAP Rockie, Sophie Ellis-Baxtor, Kesha, Lady Gaga, and Lacuna Coil, it’s undoubtedly going to be a busy year for music enthusiasts.

These are our three most highly-anticipated releases for 2025, but do let us know which ones you’re looking forward to the most!

David Gray’s Dear Life: Described as possibly ‘the deepest, strangest, loveliest album’ by the artist, Dear Life is David Gray’s 13th studio album and features 15 brand-new songs. As the singer himself has said, this is his “most lyrical record” and is about emotional crisis and resolution. It drops everywhere on January 17.

The Weeknd’s Hurry Up Tomorrow: As the sixth studio album by this Canadian singer-songwriter who has sold over 75 million records, it’s safe to say that Hurry Up Tomorrow will be a musical event akin to a Taylor Swift release. So far, three singles have been released (‘Dancing in the Flames’, ‘Timeless’, and ‘São Paulo’, so we already have an idea of the different types of sounds the artist will be exploring in his new record. This album will be available on January 24.

Lana Del Rey’s The Right Person Will Stay: Lana Del Rey’s 10th album is set to be an alt-pop and/or country album featuring 13 new tracks by the singer. Apart from the release date and the name of the album, very little is known, but one thing that’s certain is that the first single off the album would be ‘Henry’. The release date for Lana’s new album is May 21.
