Nintendo has dropped the first-look trailer for the Nintendo Switch 2, the successor to the popular 2017 system. The news has been well-received by gamers, who are looking forward to improved graphics, updated hardware, new game titles, and even a whole host of new accessories.
Very little is known about the specs of the Nintendo Switch 2 so far, but Nintendo has already informed players that while many digital and physical Nintendo Switch games can be played on the successor, some may not be compatible. This makes it clear that the system will be improved.
In Europe, the system is expected to be released between the beginning of April and mid-May, with a multitude of Nintendo Switch 2 Experiences happening across the continent. These include ones in Paris between April, 4 and 6, London between April, 11 and 13, and Madrid between May, 9 and 11. It’s uncertain when the console will make its way to Malta, though mid-May is the most likely scenario.
In the meantime, many websites have been speculating about the add-ons and games that will be released concurrently with the Nintendo Switch 2 system. According to Spanish marketing and business publication Merca 2.0, the first dedicated game to be released will be Mario Kart 9;l meanwhile, according to Comic Book, midnight releases across the States, Europe, and Asia will likely also have new accessories for sale, including collector’s editions.
