First written during the Malta Eurovision Music Exchange Camp 2024 with Tom Oehler, Dana Burkhard and Pelle Nylén, the original track made it all the way to the finals, finishing in 7th place overall.

Four months later, Krista returns with a stripped back version of the track. Produced by Cyprian Cassar at Somnio Studios, Unheard (Acoustic) features newly recorded vocals and a warmer, more intimate arrangement. The official video, shot by Kurt Cauchi at the same studios, captures the raw emotion behind the reimagined version.

Speaking about the acoustic release, Krista said: “Unheard has always felt deeply personal to me. But performing it on such a big stage made me realise how many people related to it. I wanted to bring it back to its core, just voice and emotion. This version is for those who really listened.

Since her appearance in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest, Krista has continued to grow her presence on the local scene. She was recently selected to represent Malta at the upcoming OGAE Fan Vision 2025 and is also a finalist in this year’s Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza with her self-produced Maltese track Xejn M’Għadu L-Istess.

Unheard (Acoustic) is now available on all major streaming platforms.
