The China Cultural Centre in Malta is holding Chinese dance classes from August 4.
Open to individuals aged 10 and above, the course is designed for all levels ‒ no prior dance experience is required.
Sessions will be held twice weekly in the morning every Monday and Friday from 10 to 11.30am, and on Wednesday evening from 7 to 8.30pm, at the centre’s premises at 173, Melita Street, Valletta.
The classes will be led by acclaimed instructor Wang Lin, a national class-II dancer with extensive experience in dance education and performance.
Wang Lin has served as a dance director for China Central Television’s Children’s Windmill programme and has participated in numerous cultural exchanges between China and Malta.
The course will cover fundamental techniques, introduce a variety of Chinese ethnic dance styles and help participants develop posture, coordination and expressive movement.
Spaces are limited and early registration is encouraged.
