Malta National Park to turn into eco-friendly Christmas market

Woodland Christmas Market runs from December 6 to 14
Families with young children will delight in a packed schedule of free activities on weekends and public holidays.

Eco Market Malta is holding another edition of the Woodland Christmas Market at the Oak Tree Circle in the Malta National Park from December 6 to 14.

Curated with the planet in mind, the market showcases an array of earth-friendly products ideal for conscious Christmas shopping. Visitors will discover unique gifts from sustainable brands and NGOs − all plastic-free and designed to minimise environmental impact.

Families with young children will delight in a packed schedule of free activities on weekends and public holidays. Highlights include a creative drawing station, immersive art workshops where children craft one-of-a-kind keepsakes, thrilling scavenger hunts with exciting surprises, and whimsical face painting.

Santa and Mrs Claus will make special appearances, joined by beloved mascots like Olaf from Frozen. Adding to the excitement is the Kids 4 Kids Market, where young entrepreneurs proudly sell their handmade treasures.

Adults can unwind in the revamped food area, savouring a diverse selection of seasonal delights: traditional Maltese treats, international cuisines, fruit juices and smoothies, steaming mulled wine and an assortment of cakes and pastries.

Live entertainment will include a soulful choir, a vibrant Latin American duo reimagining classic Christmas carols, intimate piano performances by talented musicians, and the lively rhythms of Tikka Banda.

Entrance to the Woodland Christmas Market is free. The venue offers ample comfortable seating, shaded tree-lined spaces and dedicated parking, with full accessibility for visitors with a disability.

Opening hours: December 6, 7, 8, 13, 14 from 10am to 8pm; December 9, 10, 11 and 12 from 4 to 7pm.
