The Y Don’t U Performance Team recently represented Malta at the Can You Dance? Super Convention 2025 in Liverpool, the UK.
This marks the third consecutive year that the team attended the prestigious event, which gathers thousands of dancers, choreographers and industry professionals from across the world for a weekend of workshops, performances and inspiration.
The Y Don’t U dancers performed a powerful and heartfelt piece choreographed by Marianna Micallef, based on the theme ‘No one is left behind – we’re in this as a team’. The performance highlighted unity, support and togetherness − values that lie at the core of the group’s identity. The message and choreography deeply resonated with audiences, earning enthusiastic applause and praise from the organisers.

Throughout the weekend, individual members of the team also took part in a wide range of masterclasses with leading UK dance professionals. Several students were personally selected to demonstrate routines, while others were offered further training opportunities, recognising their talent, effort and positive spirit.
The dancers returned home full of pride, motivation and inspiration after an unforgettable weekend of learning, teamwork and performance.
