The fourth edition of the Selfmade Market is set to bring festive cheer to Pjazza Jean de la Valette, in Valletta, with a special Christmas market on Saturday, November 29, from 10am to 5pm.
Visitors can explore a curated selection of unique gifts, including artworks, home décor, a variety of artisan jewellery and cozy crochet crafts – all made with passion and skill by the young and talented creative community.
The event is organised by nofacemt (a network of local freelancers and creative entrepreneurs in Malta organising bi-monthly events and meet-ups) in collaboration with Lincole Handmade and Carina Print and Designs.
“We are thrilled to bring back the Selfmade Market for its first dedicated Christmas edition,” said Johann Agius from nofacemt.
“There’s no better place to find a meaningful and unique gift than here, where you can meet several creatives, hear their stories, and give your support to local and international artistry right in the heart of Valletta.”
“You will find several items that have been made with love and care”
Lincole Handmade is an artisan brand started by two Maltese sisters, Nicole and Elenia Borg, specialising in crafting delightful amigurumi-style crochet plushies.
The Borg sisters fand Jessica Magro from Carina Print and Designs added: “This festive market is the perfect opportunity to cross those special names off your list with one-of-a-kind gifts.
“Here you will find several items that have been made with love and care, and we’re excited to be providing a platform for both returning favourites, as well as quite a number of creators joining us for the first time. We encourage you to skip the generic presents and come discover special gift ideas at our market.”
