The Gozo Youth Orchestra is celebrating two of the most iconic acts in music history, ABBA and Boney M, with a large-scale production at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta, on March 7 at 8pm.
The show will feature a 55-piece orchestra, two rock bands, an 18-strong backing choir and leading local singers. These include Cash & Band, led by John Cash Cassar and BM Band, led by Marc Galea and singers Dorothy Bezzina, Ludwig Galea, Francesco Nicodeme, Klinsmann Coleiro, Amelia Kalabic and Sarah Bonnici. Also performing will be guest singers Sean Kamati, Dorothy Borg Bonnici, Cassie Gold, Jessica Magro and Natassja Chapman will be the guest performers.
Audiences can expect powerful rock orchestral arrangements, through which the hits that defined a generation are brought to life in a contemporary concert experience.
The Golden Age of ABBA & Boney M is being held with the support and collaboration of Festivals Malta, Malta International Airport, Creative Europe Desk Malta, The General Soft Drinks, Paul Stellini Design Studio, The Duke Boutique Hotel, and Visit Malta.
