On Women’s Day, March 8, Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum is organising a themed guided tour on ‘Women and the Sea’.

Visitors to the palazzo will explore the long and challenging journey women endured to gain the right to officially work in the maritime industry. It also highlights the many connections between women and the sea throughout history as seen through Olof Gollcher’s collection.

After the tours, visitors will be invited to enjoy a glass of Buck’s Fizz in the revivalist courtyard. In the event of bad weather, the glass of Buck’s Fizz will be served in the refectory of the palazzo.

Pre-booking is required. Send an e-mail on bookings@palazzofalson.com by not later than 2pm on Friday, March 6. Tickets are non-refundable. Check out the Facebook event for more details
