Some of most iconic music ever written for the screen will be performed at the the TOI TOI Easter Concert, being held at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta, from April 4 to 6.
Marking the sixth edition of TOI TOI’s annual family event, Movie Magic will include music from E.T., Star Wars, Avengers, Shrek, Harry Potter, as well as singalong songs from box office smash films by Disney, Netflix, Universal and Pixar studios.
The TOI TOI orchestral ensemble, a cast of gifted young singers and some very special guests, will perform.
Movie Magic features music direction by Tom Newall and choreography by Warren Bonello. The production is written and directed by TOI TOI Learning and Participation Programme manager Kate Fenech Field, with contributions from emerging directors Faye Mallia and Nicole Sciberras.
There will be performances on Easter Saturday at 8pm, on Easter Sunday at 5pm and on Easter Monday, at 3pm. Tickets can be booked online here or from the theatre’s box office.
