A number of activities on the theme of fruit and vegetables aimed at children aged 6 to 10 are being organised at the Gozo Central Public Library from July 20.

Titled Qawsalla ta’ Frott u Ħxejjex (a rainbow of fruit and vegetables), these activities include reading sessions, various creative crafts and more.

Children will experience a colourful story session focusing on a different colour of the rainbow each week. They will also explore fruits and vegetables that match the featured colour and discuss their importance in one’s daily diet and beyond.

The sessions will take place every Saturday at 10.30am and run for a period of eight weeks. Children must be accompanied by one parent/guardian. This is because they will be using sewing needles and scissors to sew.

To reserve a place, send an e-mail to events.library@gov.mt.
