The final preparations for the 49th edition of L-Għanja tal-Poplu, a festival of original songs in Maltese, are under way.
Sixteen songs have made it to the final night, which is being held at Pjazza Teatru Rjal, in Valletta, on August 2. The participating singers will be accompanied by the Malta Concert Orchestra.
Debbie Scerri and George Cremona will be the evening’s hosts, while Joe Demicoli will be the special guest.
Also participating as a guest singer will be Laura Bruno, who will perform Għażiża, the winning entry of L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2024.
