Bob's Books

Bob’s earliest bookish memory was his mother reading Dr Seuss’ 'Yertle the Turtle' and 'Horton hears a Who' to him back in Canada, his birthplace.
From then reading was part of his childhood, be it through visiting the library or being subscribed to book clubs.
By the time he moved to Malta in 1992 he used to visit bookstores, a highlight being a weekly (more or less) visit to the defunct Sapienzas.
Come his late teens Bob began working with books first with textbooks during the summer recesses of his sixth form and university years, then progressing to be a bookseller and eventually graduating as a librarian.
Reviewing, talking or blogging about books, they’ve become a part of his life.
