Several authors and personalities are attending a Book Week organised by St Benedict College Secondary Kirkop to promote the benefits of reading.
These include authors Trevor Zahra, Simone Spiteri and Ġorġ Mallia, musician Ivan Farrugia of band Bernie & Pod and actor George Micallef, all of whom will take part in reading sessions.
Other activities being organised between today, March 6, and Friday, March 10, are a virtual reality (VR) experience, a quiz challenge, a book fair and a stage representation titled ‘Agħmilli like’ (Like my post).
President Emeritus Marie-Louie Coleiro Preca will also be visiting the fair.
