Established in Milan in 1967 and crafted by the hands of more than 100 expert goldsmiths at Casa Pomellato, the Milanese brand stands out for its unique design and colorful gems which through innovative stone cutting and setting techniques have come to define an unmistakable and iconic style.

In 2018, Pomellato partnered with a Milanese school called Galdus in order to safeguard the brand’s rich Italian craftsmanship while investing in the young talents of its home city, ultimately assuring the transfer of our savoir-faire to future generations. Jewellery-making is an art and it has to be preserved. The knowledge and expertise of Pomellato’s artisans will train the next generations, for Pomellato and for the industry with this in-depth education program.

An environmentally-conscious approach to jewel creation

Working towards a more eco-conscious future, Pomellato has now achieved 100% responsible gold purchasing and has increased Fairmined gold purchases as well to create a special collection while continuing to invest in the traceability of colored stones and diamonds and exploring new materials and recycling solutions. Through initiatives and advocacy, Pomellato continues to reinforce the importance of sustainability, an Earth-conscious community, female empowerment as well as inclusivity and diversity.

Pomellato For Women was launched in 2017 for the 50th anniversary of the brand. It is a communication platform that unites and gives voice to a community of like-minded women from different walks of life, meant to both inspire others and highlight the importance of female leadership and inclusivity. The purpose is to celebrate the diversities and the authenticity of womanhood in all its richness. Pomellato For Women aims to spread a strong message and ignite action towards important values such as Diversity and Equality for a better future for everyone.

Nudo 20th anniversary

Nudo was launched in 2001 and it was the perfect ironic answer to the solitaire ring as it was the first to use coloured gems ‘naked’ (‘nudo’ in Italian means naked) in their splendour, free from any prongs, unique in the way it is cut and shaped, giving each piece a distinctively irregular faceting. a very essential design that became soon an icon. The success story of Nudo is the result of Pomellato’s unconventional approach to jewellery. With Nudo, Pomellato dared to break conventions and subverted the traditional design style. Thanks to its wide array of colours and essential shapes, Nudo embodies simplicity, elegance, and contemporaneity, immediately becoming one of the ‘must haves’ in jewellery. Imagined as five visual concepts, the campaign reinforces how Pomellato is Inspired by Milan with images of the city’s iconic architecture and features, Designed in Milan with the city’s renowned charm, culture and heritage, Crafted in Milan, and with its rich goldsmith tradition, Wear Milan to celebrate the understated elegance of Milanese style, and Milan La Gioia to revere Pomellato’s exquisite High Jewellery collection.

La Gioia Di Pomellato

High jewellery represents for Pomellato a great opportunity to express the unique creative spirit of the brand. Following the incredible success of our first High Jewellery collection – La Gioia di Pomellato – launched in 2020, last year we unveiled the second chapter of La Gioia pursuing an innovative and free creative approach. The collection was composed of highly creative pieces that echoed one of Pomellato’s greatest passions, chains, which are types of jewels that have little been used in High Jewellery until now. The collection also presented unique, one-of-a-kind creations that were crafted by repurposing special jewels from our archives. This particularly bold creative choice echoes the sustainable development strategy of our House.

Never before had a jewellery brand dared to integrate its heritage jewellery into a contemporary collection. Once again, Pomellato is staying true to its values, shaking up the traditional codes and breathing new life into the classic world of High Jewellery.

A walk in nature collection

This is the third new High Jewellery Collection launched this year that depicts an evocative imaginary journey with its ever changing landscapes, from the first rays of the rising sun to the mystery of the night. Nature is the inspiration, beautifully reinterpreted in the free-spirited style of the brand, never static or decorative. The unique creations capture light, moods and feelings in seven different themes that are embodied in Pomellato’s unique craftsmanship.
