Heritage Malta is hosting a unique event for children on Friday, August 11, at St Paul’s Catacombs in Rabat, at 2pm..

Titled It’s All About the Bones, Friday’s event is inviting children aged 9+ (and their guardians) to discover more about the human skeleton during a tour of the catacombs, which served as a burial ground in Punic, Byzantine and Roman times.

The young visitors will be guided by a bone expert or osteologist, who will also compare animal skeletons with human ones.

This activity is in English and lasts about 90 minutes. Each ticket also includes entry for the child’s guardian. Tickets may be purchased from all Heritage Malta museums and sites, and online here.

This event forms part of Heritage Malta’s Student Summer Programme 2023. Please note that Student Summer Programme events may be filmed and photographed for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, send an e-mail to education@heritagemalta.org prior to the event.
