Are you ready to party like it’s 1999? Christmas in Gozo has just gone and made every millennial’s dream as it’s announced the Dutch Eurodance group, Vengaboys, will be coming to Gozo to headline their New Year’s Eve event!
Yes, you read that right! The group behind bangers like Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!, We Like to Party, and We’re Going to Ibiza, the latter of which inspired the timeless Maltese classic, Kemmuna Airways by Joe Demicoli, is coming to Gozo. And, since we were sadly born more than 30 years ago, we can assure you that our inner children are absolutely screaming with joy!
Who could ever resist singing along to their songs? We surely couldn’t!
The event will be part of Christmas in Gozo, which kicks off on November 24, 2023, and runs until January 7, 2024. The New Year’s Eve party will be bang in the middle of this: taking place at Independence Square on Sunday, December 31, 2023. The Vengaboys will be preceded by DCapitals Big Bang, MiciMago, Ryan Spiteri, Clint Bajada, and Ozzy Lino.
