Christmas is a time for sharing, which is why we have gone through dozens of apps to find three that we think everyone will love!
Elfster: Are you planning a Secret Santa with your colleagues, friends’ group, or family? Elster is an easy-to-use Secret Santa generator that allows you to create wish lists, draw up names for gift exchanges, get gift ideas, and lots more. The app is absolutely free, has been downloaded 26,000,000 times, and is available on both the App Store and Google Play.
NORAD Tracks Santa: Developed for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), this app kicks off real-time tracking of Santa and his reindeer as they fly all around the world delivering presents. The app is already available to download, but it starts doing its job at midnight on Saturday, December 23. An interesting bit of trivia about this app is that it’s basically a new incarnation of a tradition that dates to 1955, when NORAD first began this outreach function. The app is available on both iOS and Android, and is completely free to download and use.
Christmas Countdown: If you like receiving daily gifts, including themed wallpaper and music, Christmas Countdown will certainly bring some cheer into your life as it automatically assigns a free digital gift to you every day of December leading up to Christmas. It also has a super fun game called Bauble Box, where you need to watch falling baubles until they become stars. The app is available on Android and iPhone, and there is a premium version – though what’s mentioned here is all free!
