MPO series for children continues

New session introduces the saxophone

After a short break, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra series for children, Do-Re-Mi, continues by introducing the character of La (the saxophone) at the Robert Samut Hall in Floriana on Sunday, May 12 at 11am.

La is the youngest member of the orchestra family, and comes in varied sizes and voices for major impact and assorted musical colours.

Children will have the unique opportunity to forge connections with this charming musical character created by scriptwriter Simon Bartolo, listen to professional music performances and participate in an engaging age-appropriate workshop.

Tickets are available from showshappening.com.

Those who would like their children to join the workshops, held on the same day at 10am, need to send an e-mail to development@maltaorchestra.com. The workshop has limited spaces and is on first-come, first-served basis. Children under five must be supervised at all times.
