It’s been 10 years since we got anything from the beloved The Inbetweeners cast, yet recent reports suggest that a reboot may be coming sooner rather than later.
The Inbetweeners was a coming-of-age British sitcom which aired on E4 between 2008 and 2010. It followed the lives of four young misfits, named William, Simon, Neil, and Jay, as they explored male bonding, sexuality, friendship, and teenage life in general.
The show was a global success, spawning two movies, which went on to become box-office hits, as well as an American version on MTV, which was axed pretty quickly due to low ratings.
In recent weeks, however, actor Joe Thomas, who played the part of Simon, confirmed during the Always Be Comedy podcast that all of the main cast was up for a reprisal. Even so, he also explained that, at this point in time, a movie would be more likely than another series. This revelation has got both media sites and social media buzzing with excitement, which will certainly have got production houses’ attention. So, who knows? This may actually just happen!
