Props from the Batman movies, life-sized vehicles, and costumes worn by the actors who have portrayed the legendary masked hero: the Batman Unmasked exhibition at Covent Garden in London has undoubtedly become one of the landmark exhibitions in the genre. Now, the organisers have announced that they will be extending it till December 30, 2024, giving fans more time to see the never-seen-before collection all in one place!
The Batman Unmasked exhibition opened on September 6 to great fanfare from fans across the world, who flocked to London to mark the DC hero’s 85th anniversary. Fans swooned as it gave them the opportunity to explore Batman films made between 1989 and 2022, explore the Batcave, step into Gotham City, and navigate a series of themed rooms full of Batsuits, props, weapons, and Super-Villain suits.
Moreover, the London exhibition also included the Batmobiles used by Robert Pattison’s Batman in the 2022 adaptation The Batman, as well as the Batpod used by Christian Bale’s Batman in the 2012 film The Dark Night Rises. These, the organisers explained, will not be travelling with the rest of the props as the exhibition moves to other cities and countries.
Given its popularity—particularly as many of these props have never been seen by the public at large—the organisers have now revealed that they’ll be pushing the London closing date from November 3 to December 30, giving fans almost two extra months to experience the magic behind the movies.
Tickets to the Batman Unmasked exhibition, which is being hosted at 45 Wellington Street, Coven Garden, cost £28 (€33.46) for those over 16 and £25.25 (€31.20) for those under 16.
