Hoi Polloi bringing back ‘Pantoween’

Auditions to be held between February 23 and March 2

After 20 years, Hoi Polloi Theatre Company is bringing back the Pantoween bigger, bolder and more magical than ever. Audiences can expect a thrilling, laughter-filled Halloween pantomime with Hocus Pocus: The Pantoween!

Back in 2005, Hoi Polloi Theatre Company, then in its early years, introduced Malta to the first-ever Pantoween with Tarzan & Gejni, a wildly imaginative adventure. At the time, Hoi Polloi Academy was still just a dream.

Now, two decades later, the company is conjuring up a brand-new musical spectacle, filled with dazzling performances, hilarious antics and spellbinding surprises.

The show is written and directed by Marco A. Calleja, with musical direction by Christine Vella. Nathalie Pace is the vocal coach and Warren Schembri Bonello is in charge of choreography.

As excitement brews, the theatre company invites all performers to be part of this thrilling comeback. Auditions will be held on February 23, for children and on March 2 for adults. Aspiring witches, wizards and pantomime lovers are not to miss the chance to join the magic.

Stay tuned for updates, follow the theatre company on Facebook and join the official event. For more information, visit the company’s website.
