An exclusive wine tasting and pairing dinner featuring Chateau Musar wines is set to take place at The Phoenicia Malta on February 28 at 7pm. Organised in collaboration with M. Demajo Wines and Spirits, the event will be hosted at Contessa, a restaurant known for its refined atmosphere and culinary expertise.
The evening will commence with a guided tasting of six Chateau Musar vintages from the years 2003, 2004, 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2017. Following the tasting session, guests will proceed to a four-course wine pairing dinner, designed to complement the characteristics of the wines. Jane Sowter, a long-standing member of Chateau Musar since 1988, will provide insights into the winery’s history, aging process, and winemaking philosophy.
The menu includes a selection of seafood, handmade pasta, premium meats, and artisanal cheese, with each course thoughtfully paired with a corresponding Chateau Musar vintage. The event will take place at Contessa, which offers views of The Phoenicia Malta’s gardens and Valletta’s bastion walls, providing an elegant setting for the occasion.
