As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, St Benedict College Pietru Pawl Saydon Secondary School has unveiled a song titled F’qalbna, an inspiring tribute to two decades of success and community.
The song, a blend of heartfelt lyrics and captivating music, was written by teacher Keith Scicluna, and Marija Bellia, an ex-student. It was recorded by Romina Mamo with final production work by Francesco Trapasso and Benedittu Productions.
The song captures the essence of the school’s journey, the connections it has fostered and the dreams that continue to blossom within its walls.
Students, ex-students and staff recently performed the song as they came together to celebrate their shared history and achievements.
A video was also produced. It was filmed at the school, showcasing the familiar spaces that have shaped so many lives over the years and paying tribute to the memories created within its walls.
The next 20th anniversary event is a reunion party in the school grounds on May 23. Tickets are available from ticketline.com.mt.
