The National Council of Women Malta (NCW), with the support of the International Council of Women (ICW), has launched a free 40-hour digital entrepreneurship training programme entitled ‘Think, Learn & Succeed’. This initiative, fully funded by ICW, aims to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in today’s digital economy.

The programme will run between this month and December, with sessions held online in the evenings, making it accessible to a wide range of participants.

Participants will gain hands-on knowledge in: planning and developing a business, creating engaging digital content, ICT and online security, e-commerce and promoting a business online through digital marketing.

Through this training, NCW and ICW are committed to supporting aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners in building confidence, improving their digital skills and enhancing their opportunities for success.

“Digital entrepreneurship skills are essential for anyone wishing to develop their business ideas and participate fully in today’s fast-changing economy”

NCW Malta general secretary Daniela Cassola said: “We are delighted to collaborate with ICW on this important initiative. Digital entrepreneurship skills are essential for anyone wishing to develop their business ideas and participate fully in today’s fast-changing economy. By offering this programme free of charge, we are opening doors to individuals who may otherwise face barriers in accessing such opportunities.”

The National Council of Women is also grateful to Emanuel Mizzi and Diane Vassallo from the Department of Technology and Entrepreneurship Education, Faculty of Education, for their support in sourcing the professional tutors.

The course is open to all and will be delivered by experienced trainers. Places are limited, and early registration is encouraged.
