Students’ winning artworks on display at China Cultural Centre

Works inspired by theme ‘Celebrating friendship with flowers’

Earlier this month, 18 students from various local schools received an award for their outstanding performance in the 14th China Cultural Centre Art Competition, co-organised by China Cultural Centre in Malta and the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation.

This year, the theme of this annual competition was ‘Celebrating friendship with flowers’ to pay tribute to the enduring bond of friendship between China and Malta.

The public may view the winning artworks until tomorrow, June 16 at the China Cultural Centre, 173, Melita Street, Valletta. The centre is open from Monday to Friday from 9.30am to noon, and from 1.30pm to 4pm. Entrance is free.
