Maltese singer Janice Mangion has launched her debut album, Kewkba fl-Univers, a project that brings together 14 songs representing different chapters of her artistic journey.

The album features 12 previously released songs, together with a new version of the song Univers, which brought Mangion to the final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026 and the track Ammen, written by Peter Borg, Joe Roscoe and Emil Calleja Bayliss, which was premiered exclusively on VIBE FM.

Throughout her career, Mangion has collaborated with several composers and lyricists who have left their mark on her music. The album features works by Cyprian Cassar, Mark Scicluna, Calleja Bayliss, Heathcliffe Balzan, Rita Pace, Deo Grech, as well as by Mangion herself.

“These songs represent different stages of my journey as an artist and as a person. Some of them have lived with the public for years, while others are seeing the light of day for the first time. Together they form what I call my musical universe,” she said.

Her manager, Marc Calleja Bayliss, who played a key role in bringing the project together, said the album represents a natural step in Mangion’s career.

“Over the years we have seen different songs shape Janice’s artistic identity. Kewkba fl-Univers felt like the natural way to bring these songs together into one project that reflects her journey,” he said.

With Kewkba fl-Univers, these songs now come together in a single album that brings together years of music, experiences and collaborations.

The album is available on major digital platforms thanks to distribution by CAP-Sounds.
