Calling bowling champions

The Malta Senior Open Championships kick off today.

The Malta Senior Open Championships is back for its 26th Edition at the Eden SuperBowl this week, from October 4 to 8. A total of 99 tenpin bowlers, 79 male players and 21 female players, will be battling it out over 5 days for a prize fund of €18,000. This impressive reward includes entry vouchers for next year’s tournament and vouchers from Casino Malta! The championship is open to all bowlers who are current members in a National Association or Federation.

Eden SuperBowl is once again hosting participants from 22 countries, including Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA and Wales.

The tournament kicks off with a twelve-game qualifying round, where 36 bowlers will advance to the next final stages. The following 4 final stages on Sunday afternoon will determine the two bowlers to go head-to-head in the Grand Final, with one bowler emerging victorious, clutching both the trophy and a well-deserved prize.
