Some are obviously not worth your time of day, but others are so great and fun, that we just can’t help sharing them!
This time round we have two amazing new micro beauty trends that have hit the TikTok waves over the past few weeks and months.
Latte Makeup: Originally making the rounds in late summer, the Latte Makeup trend saw early adopters aim for bronzed skin that glowed with the hues usually associated with the milky, caffeinated drink. This turned out to be a perfect summer-to-autumn trend, with glossy nude lips, rich brown eyeshadows, and shimmering cheekbones capturing the colours of the fall season. Might this become an annual tradition like Pumpkin Spice Lattes? We wouldn’t mind if it did!
Strawberry Girl Makeup: Kick-started by model and socialite Hailey Bieber with a step-by-step guide on how to achieve the look, the Strawberry Girl Makeup trend is all about flushed cheeks and drawn-on freckles. The trend gives you an incredibly fresh look, too, as it’s meant to be combined with dewy skin and highly-glossed lips. And, while it does feel summery, Malta’s thus-far mild autumn means we still have a few days or weeks to rock this trend.
