YMCA Malta is collaborating with 16 youth nurseries and academies across Malta to raise funds for homeless children who reside in their shelters.
The Joy for Children Nurseries Football Festival is open to children of all genders between the ages of five and 11, and will be held at the Luxor Sports Club in Swieqi on December 13. Kick off is at 8.30am..
The participating nurseries and academies are Attard FC Youth Nursery; Birkirkara FC Youth Academy; Floriana FC Nursery; Hibernians FC; Luxol Sports Club, Mellieħa SC Football School, Mġarr United Football Nursery, Pembroke Athleta Football Nursery, Pietà Hotspurs FC Academy, Rabat Ajax Football Nursery, Sirens Football Nursery, Sliema Wanderers FC Youth Academy, Swieqi United FC, Tarxien Rainbows Football Academy, Valletta FC Youth Nursery and Żurrieq FC Nursery.
Through this event, YMCA aims to to create awareness about homelessness in Malta from the earliest possible age, educating children about the problem afflicting Maltese society at present.
