Artist Etienne Farrell is holding an exhibition titled Homesick, at The Hilton, Malta, until April 28. The work revisits the Malta that the artist grew up in, with a particular focus on the life around the traditional Maltese façade. It is a nostalgic yearn for a place where she felt comfortable, cared for and curious. A safe place where she could learn and grow.
The works deal with playfulness, emotional attachment and a longed-for feeling of connectivity and warmth.
