The stunning Satariano showroom in Msida Valley Road was the venue for the popular Pink lunch party this year, providing a stylish backdrop for all things beautiful, including food delights, fine furnishing and fun fashion.

Home décor was a big part of the ladies’ luncheon and set the stage for a feast for all the senses.

A Times of Malta event, it shone a spotlight on Satariano’s wide range of new outdoor furniture, which was displayed on its vast terrace and dressed up with bright, summery and eye-catching tableware from Zartera in Naxxar and plants from Sherries Estate.

Fabulous interrios were brought to life with stand-out vases, soft furnishings, as well as fashion pieces and accessories.

Satariano’s rooftop was also transformed into a catwalk, where models paraded Coccinelle bags, Lilly Mae, Monsoon, Parfois and Solaris sunglasses, while shop-in-shops were also set up across the showroom floors, showing the versatility and use of the furniture pieces.

Satariano’s inviting bedrooms and living rooms were brought to life as they doubled as the ‘backstage’ for models to get ready for the fashion show. Guests could mingle among them and watch, up close and personal, what goes on behind the scenes, getting a true feel for the products and clothing on display.

A welcoming Graham’s white port and London Essence tonic, from Farsons Direct, was well as flowing wine, were served in fine and detailed glassware by La DoubleJ from Zartera.

Lunch was a work of art in itself, and design and presentation were not overlooked in the capable hands of master chef, Adam Depasquale, from Adams Artisanal Seafood & Fish Shop.

One of Satariano’s sleek and stylish kitchens was also put to the test as the renowned chef carried out a culinary demo, prepping a mouth-watering Tuna Tataki on site.

Design and décor were also seen in the work of Simply Local, who set up an attractive array of charcuterie, cheese and other delectable items from Carmelo Abela, including Casa Modena, Monini and Parmareggio, and created a banquet for the senses.

The Pink lunch party is a networking event that focuses on aesthetics, beauty and style, in the belief that bringing together the best brands – in this case in the field of furniture, fashion and food – can create a stimulating environment and promote products and services in the most effective way.

It was also supported by Franks, using Guerlain, and top hairstylist Neville Roman Zammit from Nev Hair Salon, using Kevin Murphy products.

Porsche, Medirect, Korres, eCabs and Maison Perrier, which launched its non-alcoholic, chic and sophisticated cocktail-inspired beverage at the party, also supported the Pink event.
