If you’re seeking a new look that will help you stand out this summer, then TikTok’s latest beauty trend is certainly something you should try.
The Sunset blush is a new trend by TikTok influencer Alissa Janay (@alissajanay), which requires you to use two different shades of blush – one pink and one orange – as well as a highlighter to give your cheeks an ombre hue that wouldn’t look amiss in Santorini at sunset.
If this is something you’d be interested in trying out, it’s good to keep in mind that the order in which you apply the products really matters here.
Start by applying the brighter of your two blushes, which is usually the pink one, to the top part of your cheekbone, and follow this up by applying the lighter shade on the bottom half of the cheekbone. Blend this with a beauty blender or a dense make-up brush, and then apply your highlighter to your cheekbone (not above or below, but right on it), and blend in.
