Productivity still lagging?

Here are three more apps to help you out.

We all know that our mobile phones can do more than just make calls and take photos, but are we really making the most of their features? These three apps leverage your mobile phone’s capabilities and other apps you already use to make your life easier and more seamless.

LastPass: If you’re fed up trying to remember all your passwords, then LastPass is exactly what you need. This app secures your personal information and passwords in an encrypted vault, and then uses a one-password system to autofill your login credentials. It’s available both on mobile and PC, making it super easy to keep things safe and handy. You can use the app for free on one device, or else go for Premium or Families (which cost around €3 or €4, respectively, per month) for more devices.

Pocket: If you often find yourself with not enough time to read the interesting articles you come across on Facebook, X, or other online sources, then having somewhere you can easily store and retrieve them makes sense. Pocket does exactly that, giving you the opportunity to curate your interests and saving any articles, pictures, or videos you want to read or view later. The free version of this is fantastic for anyone who just wants to save and read/watch later, but there is a Premium version with more features, too.
CamScanner: Gone are the days in which we we had bulky scanners on our desks. CamScanner is an app that uses your phone’s camera to scan documents, books, and anything else you may wish to. It also converts files from PDF to Word, adds watermarks to images, and extracts text from images or documents. This app doesn’t come free, costing around $49.99 (approx. €46) per year, but it is worth the investment if you often need such services.
