Every season brings with it the opportunity to try something new, be it a new way of combining accessories to an innovative way of adorning our homes. Today, however, we’ll be going through three of the most popular emerging trends for hair.
Embellishments: One of autumn 2024’s easiest, yet most impactful, trends is to embellish the hair with all kinds of glittery, sparkly things. These can be headbands, flowers, or even bold hair clips. Even so, our favourite was American fashion designer’s Christian Siriano’s take on the trend, which saw him add flecks of real gold sheets to the models hair.
Braids: For those blessed with longer hair, the season’s obsession with huge, long braids and twists will certainly be an appealing trend. For autumn 2024, however, the idea is to go over the top, combining these with bangs or intricate updos.
Sideswept Wet Look: We’ve now grown accustomed to the brushed-back, sleek wetlook, but autumn 2024 has reinvented that too. Following the runway for the New York City-based luxury label, Monse, the side-swept wept look came into common consciousness, characterised by wet fringes swept across the forehead. And, while it’s not a trend for everyone, it will certainly be something some people will want to try.
