We recently teamed up with the wonderful HUH – Help Us Help, a voluntary organisation that holds events in aid of Malta and Gozo’s animal shelters.
As we explained in our introductory article, titled Help these ladies match some furry friends with their forever home, we will be bringing you profiles of pets who are currently waiting to find their new home.
This time, we have four 19-week-old puppies currently being cared for by Gozo SPCA. If you’d like to adopt one or more of these lovable pups, then please message Gozo SPCA on Facebook.

Four puppy siblings
These four puppies turned 19 weeks old on Tuesday, August 22, and, while they are now as happy as can be, they didn’t not have a good start in life.
At the Gozo SPCA since they were three weeks old, they were sadly found abandoned along with seven other siblings, who have since been rehomed. Thankfully, they have always been in good health, requiring just bottle feeding and the usual vaccinations upon joining the other beautiful animals at the shelter. They have proven to be very friendly with both humans and other dogs, but there are a few things any aspiring adopters should know. Firstly, while they are fully vaccinated and chipped, they will need to be neutered in a few months’ time. Secondly, they are most probably a mix of Tal-Fenek and Tal-Kaċċa, so they will grow to be around 20-22kgs. This means they’ll need plenty of exercise!
