From brooches to ear cuffs, autumn 2023 is all about expressing yourself through jewellery in the boldest way possible.
Make a statement with this season’s jewellery trends.

Jewellery may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but few could dispute the fact that it adds character and depth to any outfit. For autumn 2023, jewellery is a huge part of the fashion trend, and the rules seem quite simple: bigger, bolder, and more of it.

But let’s break it down slightly by looking at five trends that are worth trying out for yourself.

Brooches: Brooches were spotted on the runways of everyone from Gucci to Paco Rabanne. In each case, the brooches were big and bold; a showcase of the wearer’s style and personality. What we love about them is that they can be worn on blazers, T-shirts, scarves, hats, and skirts!

Ear Cuffs: Earrings never go out of style but as seen on runways by Givenchy, Fendi, and Valentino, this season is all about the ear cuff. You can go as big and as bold as you can muster!

Body Jewellery: While we tend to adorn our necks, ears, wrists, and fingers, there is jewellery that adorns other parts of the body, as well. In fact, this season is all about body jewellery, with necklaces that go down to the hips, necklaces that double as bras, or even multi-string necklaces that go from neck to navel. The world is your oyster here!

Pearls: Speaking of oysters, pearls are also huge this season. Nevertheless, it’s not about the string of pearls – which, obviously, never goes out of style – but about chunky, pearly creations like huge or extra long pearl earrings. Expect to see these in shops and wear them with pride.

Ring Stacking: Finally, you can wear your whole ring collection all at one go. As showcased by the likes of Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, and Chanel, it’s not just okay to wear a ring on each finger, but it’s also okay to wear multiple rings on each finger at the same time. If you’d like some inspiration on how to do it, Google Salem witch, Lori Bruno, who has been pioneering this trend for decades.
